The Foundation is the largest grant maker in San Diego. Guided by our mission, we awarded more than $67 million last year:

  • 5,000 grants
  • to 1,200 organizations in areas such as education, arts and health
  • in San Diego, the U.S., Israel and worldwide

IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER

An IRA charitable rollover permits individuals over age 70.5 to make tax-free charitable gifts of up to $100,000 per year directly from their individual retirement accounts to qualified charities.
 

 

The Foundation has weathered many market cycles and emerged stronger and more vibrant. During challenging times, the community must come together to embrace those in need and plan for a strong future.
